In <Maria>,
the voiceover is reading a letter that he never writes down, covering the topic of memory and death, time and space, border issues, culture, and language, lost and found. I explore the dialectical relationship between presence and absence by introducing a script that blurs the gaps between facts and fiction while digging into the concept of the unreliable narrator. The direct use of language contrasts with the lack of image content of the short film.
